A couple of months in, I became 7-Eleven’s first Subject Matter Expert on safes.

Started with no electronics-repair background beyond computers. Promoted to Lead Tech within six months, owning training, repairs, part ordering, inventory, and sourcing. I taught myself microsoldering and became one of the strongest solder techs in Ohio — other locations shipped me their board repairs.
